Christmas Ghost Story Annual: an update
Posted by simonmarshalljones on August 30, 2012 · 7 Comments
Just a tiny update for all those who submitted to Spectral’s first annual Christmas Ghost Story anthology and are awaiting responses – due to an encounter with kidney stones, in which Spectral’s editor came off quite the worse for wear, as well as having to get ourselves prepared for FantasyCon coming up at the end of next month, reading all the submissions has been delayed somewhat. However, the process has now started and the book will be out on time, so responses will start to be sent out very soon.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused!

I commiserate Simon. Got rid of mine through drinking copious amounts of water – not beer – on doctor’s orders. Thankfully avoided surgery. Trust you can do the same.
Hi Derek – thanks for the comment! =)
Thankfully it all seems to have resolved itself now – the stone(s) passed naturally, which was unpleasant and quite painful. Hopefully there WON’T be a repeat anytime soon!

Kidney stones? Ouch! Hope you’re recovering well and that FantasyCon is a blast
Kidney stones passing naturally – now THERE’S a horror story. Ouch!
Oh believe me, Ray, it was a horror story…
Hope you are feeling better. Looking forward to the Annual. Stay well.

Thank you, Leo – that’s much appreciated!
